Scuba diving, searching for and researching wrecks around the south coast of the UK and all around the world and enjoying the marine life that inhabits “inner space” - That’s what I enjoy.
Hi and thanks for popping by to read my humble space on the Internet.
Why “Hit It Running” when the site is about scuba diving? Well life is too short to walk from one day to the next. So I say “Let’s Hit It Running ” and attack every new opportunity and cherish every new experience at pace.
This site is dedicated to getting out and doing what you like to do best. I like to scuba dive and as such, much of this site will be dedicated to diving, from dive site reports and recommendations, information on wrecks and useful information on all things diving. But I also intend to add categories and views on everything else that takes my fancy and catches my eye.
I intend to develop the site to look at dive destinations all around the world. This is where you come in. As much as I would like to travel the world and do nothing but dive, experience new things and write them about them on this site, I’m afraid I simply can not afford to do that. So please feel free to send in your articles and posts and photos to help build this site.
A bit about me.
I am a 40 year old guy who currently lives in the UK. I say currently as I have lived outside of the UK several times, including the Middle East, and who knows when and where I might be off to next.
In the meantime I have owned and operated a PADI 5 Star IDC dive school. Had a share in a dive charter boat in the UK. I have a commercially endorsed RYA Coastal Skipper licence to drive big power boats.
I am a dive instructor rated as a PADI Staff Instructor and a DSAT Tech Deep Instructor. I am also a TDI Advanced Trimix diver which allows me to explore some of the less visited deeper wrecks.
I would love to do more underwater videography and photography and hopefully I’ll get some good stuff to post on this site. Just bought a nice new digital SLR.
As time goes on I intend to add non diving related articled and posts and welcome any suggestions you may have.
So sit back relax and read on…………
